The Right Place at the Right Time

Sometimes when your path seems unsure because of hard times, you wonder if you're in the right place. You are. You're right where you're supposed to be. Keep walking. Don't look around, examining the twists, turns and dips. Don't listen to the bad company. Keep your eyes on the Light. Listen to the Truth, His voice guiding you. Don't look behind you, lamenting where you may have gone astray. Don't try to peek up ahead. Just go on from where you are, taking it one step at a time, letting God direct your every movement.

Joy of Life

Honor those who love you. Let them know you appreciate the fact that God gave them to you. One day they'll be gone. One day you'll be gone. In either case, it will be too late. So do it now. This is the joy of life.

To God Be the Glory

Modesty is not holding back your gifts. Humility is not keeping quiet about your blessings. Use your gift boldly. Shout out your blessings honorably. They came from God. This is how you give God glory.

Life is But a Vapor So Breathe It In

This life is so brief. Reverence each moment. Because in a moment, it's over. So spend each moment wisely. Enjoy the days God has given you. Use the talents up, giving Him glory. Sing your song with all your might, as long and loud as God grants you strength.

What a Friend!

A true friend listens, comforts you when you're sad, celebrates with you when you get a blessing, wants to be around you, not because of what they can get, but because they enjoy your company. Everyone wants a friend like that. The key to getting a true friend is appreciating the friendship of your Creator. Know that you're lovable because He loves you so much and is always there for you. Revel in His love. Let it change you and lift you. Then follow His example and be a true friend to someone else. Pass on the love. It will surely come back, again and again. Recognize it when it comes, and pass it on again.

Take No Thought for Tomorrow, Be Worry Free

A good father takes care of his children. Children don't worry about the future, what they will eat when they get hungry, what they'll put on when it gets cold. They live in the present. We, as God's children, should be even more worry free, knowing that our Father in heaven is rich, loves us, protects us and will meet all of our needs. We can play and enjoy the day, because we have a Good Daddy!

Give No Place to the Devil

When you love those who hate you, it's not for their benefit. It's for your mental, spiritual and physical survival. It may seem like those who can stand their ground with the "better not mess with me" attitude are strong. This is a trick. When you respond to nastiness with more nastiness, it is not strength. You have let the enemy in. He will turn a fiery comeback into a bad mood. A bad mood into a bad attitude. A bad attitude into a toxic personality. Be very cautious, because hate will bring you down before you know it. Love is so much stronger than hate. So when evil comes your way, overcome evil with good. If you don't, it will overcome you.

Take Your Time

Take your time and enjoy the day. Love the people who are with you now. They may be gone tomorrow and you will have missed the greatest opportunity God gives. Don't be too busy with the cares of the world. Relax and experience the moment. It will all get done. The clock will keep ticking, whether or not you strive with every second or flow. So you might as well rejoice and be glad.

To Be or Not To Be Blessed?

If you're struggling, stop. Struggle is not something done to you or a place in which you find yourself. Niether is blessing. Both are actions you decide to take (or not). You may not have control over your circumstances. You can control your state of BEing. BE content. BE happy. BE patient. BE loving. Let go of bitterness, sorrow, fear and hate. It's your choice. Choose to enjoy life and life will be blessed. BE blessed!

Heavenly Bound & Earthly Good

You can not be a servant of God if you are not a servant of people. God has put us here on Earth. Our service is to be done here for those that we see daily. God put the people in your life so that you can serve them and thereby serve Him. Rise early to serve. Lay down late, but serve. It is worth it. For in the end, He'll say, "Well done!"

Eradicate Hate & Overcome Evil With Good

Don't let anyone take your love. Hate is no excuse for not loving. God loves you even in your filthiness, ignorance, and disobedience. If you want to follow Him, love your enemies when they can not or will not love you back. Love enough to eradicate the hate. Love enough to overcome evil with good. Love is the greatest force. Trust it. It will prevail. It can not fail.

The Tie That Binds

True Love never stops. Fear, weariness, laziness, ungratefulness, obstacles, nor any other thing will stop Love. It is unbeatable, indefatigable, uncompromising. It is the most powerful force. Let Love be the light that guides you, the tie that bind you, the teacher that instructs you, the voice that consoles you. Hold onto it. Keep your eye on it. Never doubt it. Go forth in it.

Just What You Need

God will restore you if you allow Him. He will repair what's broken and strengthen what is weak. He will perfect you once you acknowledge your imperfection. He will fill you when you know that you are empty. Reach out your hands and ask for you blessing. He will give you just what you need, Him.

The Final Examination

Final judgment is from the Lord. Men can determine you to be good or bad, worthy or unworthy. But God's judgment is the only one that really matters. We were created to please God. You should neither be satisfied with the pleasure nor preoccupied with the displeasure of anyone else. They did not give the assignment. They will not give the final grade. Occupy yourself with God's will concerning you.

The Present

Enjoy today. Rejoice and be thankful for your life, such as it is. The people and possessions are God's present to you. Appreciate them fully while you breathe today. Hold tight to them. Laugh. Love. Release yesterday and its bitterness, weights and regrets. Fear not tomorrow. Who says that it will come? This is the day that the Lord has made!

Everything

We come to this world to love. We experience the giving and receiving of love. That is the substance of our existing. God loves us. We love Him back by loving one another. Without Love, there is nothing. With Love, there is everything.

Falling Into Place

It's all or nothing. You have to totally and completely believe. You have to totally and completely surrender. You can't hold onto a little control. You can't depend partially on your knowledge and logic. For faith to work, you have to give up control. You must let go of your grip and know that you and everything pertaining to you will fall into place.

True North

Don't let your circumstances guide you. Let His word be a lamp unto your feet as you follow your heart. Situations are temporary. Man's judgements are flawed. But God's words are true. The love He has placed in your heart is pure. Let these be your compass, and you shall never err. You will reach your destination.

The Storm is Passing Over, Hallelujah!

God is in control, even during a storm. Some come without warning, but He knows all about it. Just hold on. Follow His directions. He knows when it started, and He knows when it will end. Be still and allow Him to do His work. Don't panic. Don't try to run. Don't worry. Don't try to hold on to what He's pulling away. Just hold on to Him. When He commands peace and it's all over, He will rebuild what was torn down and restore what was taken, better than before. When the rain and wind cease, you'll appreciate the sun so much more.

Check Yourself

You must be protected and equipped for the battle or you will get battered and bruised. If you are sore and weakened, check to make sure your armor is on right and you're using your weapons correctly.

Your Bare Beautiful Truth

Bare your soul. Don't hold back. Don't take tomorrow for granted. This might be the last chance to shine. So let your light shine. Don't be shy when it comes to serving God. Serve Him with a naked and true heart. (He can see you anyway. Why not let the world see your beautiful truth?) Put forth all your effort and know that He will bring it to pass.

Courage to Love

If your heart is broken, let God fix it. Stop waiting for the ones that broke your heart to come to their senses. You need to come to your senses and allow God to do the work that needs to be done. Then you will be able to love in the way God intends for you to love. You can't serve God without love. You can't love right until God mends and straightens your heart. Making excuses about other people's misdeeds toward you won't get the job done. God will not accept your watching and waiting to see what their next move will be. Ultimately, whether they love you or hate you, God is judging you according to the contents of your heart. Get in the word. Hide it in your heart. Let it disinfect it. Let its medicine work. Let its nutrients build. Let it guide you. Let it give you courage to Love.

Mean It

You must actively pursue life. It is not a passive endeavor. Each day, you must wake up and decide whether and how to live. If you don't make the decision for yourself, circumstances will make the decision for you. Look to God to give direction in all your ways so that you will be in line with His divine will. Then you will experience the intended power and peace of a purposeful life.

Sweet Release

Let go and love. What good is worrying over it? No matter how much you scuffle and strain, it's going to last as long as God intends for it to last. You might as well relax and let God have His way. Your anger, your panic, your analysis, your sleepless nights won't move it one inch. So just surrender to the will of God and obey His command.

Clarity

Let the Word wash and clean and heal you. It is the ruler by which every thought should be measured and every deed judged. If it doesn't measure up, reject it. If it won't pass the test, don't do it. It must guide you. It must show you the way.

The Sure Thing

Forget about the hate from yesterday. Sow seeds of love today. God will bless your life with a bountiful increase of joy. Love, not only because God commands you to love. Love, because it is an investment. And the return will be immeasurable.

True Love

Simply worship God with all your heart, in all that you do. You worship God by serving others with a sincere heart. Any reason you give for not doing so is just an excuse, and God will not accept it! You can't love others if you're not being yourself. Others can't love you if you're not being yourself. So be yourself to experience the fulness of Divine joy.

When Day is Done

Let go and Love. Give it all. Sing loud. Dance hard. Once it's over, it's over. You won't get another chance. Don't leave this world with anything still in you. That's all that really matters. You owe it to your Creator. You owe it to yourself.
